Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- at least 1 year of cooking experience in a commercial kitchen
- ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- compliance with pre-employment drug screening
- excellent personal hygiene and appearance standards
Job Qualifications
- previous experience as a line cook or similar culinary role
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- culinary degree or certification is a plus
Job Duties
- prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- ensure proper food storage and inventory management
- assist with menu planning and development
- collaborate with kitchen staff to deliver timely service
- follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
- support catering and special event food preparation
