Job Requirements

  • Must be 17 or older
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to food preparation
  • Commitment to maintaining kitchen safety and hygiene standards
  • Willingness to learn and follow Red Robin food preparation procedures
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Basic math skills for portioning and measuring ingredients

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in a commercial kitchen or food preparation environment preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

  • Flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items including cutting, sautéing, broiling, frying, and cooking various meals such as meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, soups, and salads
  • Adhere to safe food handling and cleanliness rules
  • Ensure that all food preparation meets Red Robin quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines
  • Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely food service
  • Assist with inventory and stock management as needed
