Job Requirements
- Must be 17 or older
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Capacity to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to food preparation
- Commitment to maintaining kitchen safety and hygiene standards
- Willingness to learn and follow Red Robin food preparation procedures
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Basic math skills for portioning and measuring ingredients
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a commercial kitchen or food preparation environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends
Job Duties
- Prepare food items including cutting, sautéing, broiling, frying, and cooking various meals such as meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, soups, and salads
- Adhere to safe food handling and cleanliness rules
- Ensure that all food preparation meets Red Robin quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely food service
- Assist with inventory and stock management as needed
