Job Requirements

  • Basic education or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food preparation preferred
  • Nevada Health Card possession
  • Ability to stand and walk swiftly for long periods
  • Capability to lift 25 pounds unassisted and 50 pounds with assistance
  • Reliable commute or willingness to relocate to Las Vegas, NV
  • Ability to work in environments that can be smoky, noisy, hot, cold, or humid

Job Qualifications

  • Basic knife skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with team members in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
  • Must possess a Nevada Health Card
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation practices
  • Comprehension of English language both written and oral

Job Duties

  • Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
  • Preparing food including cleaning, cutting ingredients, cooking appetizers, snacks, main dishes, and desserts
  • Plating prepared foods based on the Kitchen Manager's guidance
  • Working with servers to ensure timely completion of orders according to guest requests
  • Washing and cleaning kitchen and cooking utensils, storing equipment after shifts
  • Ensuring kitchen operation and hygiene meet food and safety standards
  • Recording fridge and line temperatures daily
  • Performing daily cleaning of kitchen equipment including refrigerators, flat tops, and oil fryers
  • Cross-functional training in prep cooking and assuming related responsibilities as needed
  • Putting away food orders upon arrival as needed
