Job Requirements

  • Must be able to provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Must pass mandatory drug test and criminal background check
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for 3 or more hours daily
  • Must be able to perform repetitive hand motions throughout entire shift
  • Must be able to work in environments with noise, dust, gas, flames, chemicals, temperature extremes, humidity, or wetness

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
  • Culinary degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Active California Food Handlers Certificate
  • Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills
  • Experience in food preparation and kitchen operations

Job Duties

  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Provide consistent, safe, and sanitary food storage, preparation, and cooking
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and equipment
  • Recognize and follow quality standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, dairy products, and grains including proper storage
  • Utilize leftovers effectively and control food waste
  • Work cooperatively with team members and take direction from supervisors
  • Maintain flexibility to adapt to changing kitchen needs and schedules
