Job Requirements

  • Must be able to communicate effectively
  • Ability to follow established food preparation procedures and recipes
  • Capable of operating kitchen equipment including grills, roast-and-hold ovens, conventional and convection ovens, and fryers
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission
  • Must pass pre-employment drug testing
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • At least one year of relevant cooking experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • One year of cooking experience or comparable/current Cross-Over experience in the venue
  • Snoqualmie Casino Career Development Track Series completion
  • Proven working knowledge of East Asian cooking and cuisine
  • Proven working knowledge of kitchen design and operation of grills, ovens and fryers

Job Duties

  • Responsible for quality, quantity, consistency and timeliness of food preparation
  • Follow established procedures/recipes that ensure quality food presentation, portion controls, usage of garnishes and proper substitution
  • Demonstrate knowledge of menu items and standards by memory
  • Follow and adhere to proper food handling procedures for food storage, rotation, spoilage, sanitation and prevention of cross-contamination
  • Follow recipes, times and temperatures in order to produce high quality and consistent products
  • Other duties as assigned
