Job Requirements
- Must be able to communicate effectively
- Ability to follow established food preparation procedures and recipes
- Capable of operating kitchen equipment including grills, roast-and-hold ovens, conventional and convection ovens, and fryers
- Willingness to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission
- Must pass pre-employment drug testing
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least one year of relevant cooking experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- One year of cooking experience or comparable/current Cross-Over experience in the venue
- Snoqualmie Casino Career Development Track Series completion
- Proven working knowledge of East Asian cooking and cuisine
- Proven working knowledge of kitchen design and operation of grills, ovens and fryers
Job Duties
- Responsible for quality, quantity, consistency and timeliness of food preparation
- Follow established procedures/recipes that ensure quality food presentation, portion controls, usage of garnishes and proper substitution
- Demonstrate knowledge of menu items and standards by memory
- Follow and adhere to proper food handling procedures for food storage, rotation, spoilage, sanitation and prevention of cross-contamination
- Follow recipes, times and temperatures in order to produce high quality and consistent products
- Other duties as assigned
