Job Requirements
- experience in leadership, management, demanding accountability and a high degree of training and teaching abilities, to lead the entire team to success (highest product quality, highest productivity output, complying with all food safety rules and regulations)
- flexible work schedules within a 24/7 work environment
- ability to handle seasonal peak times with blackout periods for paid time off
Job Qualifications
- be a self-starter who works independently with minimal supervision
- ability to work rotating shifts, including holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed
- strong organizational, analytical, communication and leadership skills required
- bilingual English / Spanish a plus
- legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- ability to read and interpret loading instructions, diagrams, and food menu specifications
- highly flexible and analytical, pro-active team player
- excellent knowledge of food and hygiene standards
- must hold a valid Food Handlers Certificate, recognized by local authorities (e.g., SERV Safe)
- meticulous time management skills with the ultimate attention to detail
- airline catering industry knowledge is a plus
Job Duties
- leadership, management and accountability
- passionate about gourmet food
- comply with all food safety rules and regulations
- ability to read and execute corporate recipes
- clean and sanitize station as needed and at end of shift
- keeping waste logs up-to-date for financial controlling review
- complete all FSQ logs in real time with accordance with FSQ standards
- follow working / batch recipes using the proper tools (e.g. scales, scoops etc.)
