Job Requirements
- Basic hot and cold food cooking knowledge
- proficient knife skills
- knowledge of standards of quality and production
- four years in the Cook 2 or equivalent position at a premier restaurant, resort, or hotel property
- high school diploma or equivalent required

- graduate of accredited culinary program or apprenticeship desirable
Job Duties
- Assign tasks to Cook 2 employees with the approval of chefs or sous chefs
- grill, bake, sauté, steam and cook all necessary menu items including soups and sauces
- discuss daily events and production schedule with sous chefs
- make suggestions to improve the quality of food production and presentation
- work with butcher to ensure consistent product, portions, cuts and amounts
- assist in maintaining a clean and orderly work environment
- carefully follow recipes provided
