Job Requirements
- ability to read, speak, write, and understand english
- basic mathematical skills
- knowledge of weight and measures conversion
- dependable with no excessive absenteeism or tardiness
- coordination, speed, and stamina to complete job
- ability to follow oral and written instructions
- understand and follow safety and sanitation procedures
- experience handling a wide variety of food products including allergens
Job Qualifications
- high school graduate or equivalent
- servsafe certification or successful completion within 90 days
- minimum two years experience in fast-paced, high quantity food establishment
- strong customer service skills
- knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- proficiency in knife handling and various cooking methods
Job Duties
- prepare hot and cold food items for patients, staff, and visitors
- cook according to established menus and standardized recipes
- ensure portion control guidelines are followed
- maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- manage timely and accurate meal production
- utilize various cooking techniques including grilling, sautéing, and braising
- handle food presentation and decoration
