Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs multiple times per shift
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to follow recipes and adjust as necessary

  • Previous cooking experience in a fast-paced kitchen preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production schedules

  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items

Job Duties

  • Handle, store, and rotate food properly to ensure freshness and safety
  • Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and plating specifications
  • Maintain a sanitary and efficient workspace throughout prep and service
  • Set up the steam table with proper water levels and heat food to correct temperatures
  • Maintain par levels by keeping the steam table stocked and heated
  • Follow prep lists from the Executive Chef or Sous Chef to prepare and store ingredients
  • Cook and assemble menu items ensuring quality and consistency
