Job Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of related practical work experience
  • ARRT certification
  • State accreditation as applicable
  • Proven supervisory and leadership experience
  • Strong organizational multitasking and time-management skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and or weekends as required

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the Limited Scope Radiologic Technology program including daily operations and instructional delivery
  • Teach assigned courses and serve as a substitute instructor as needed
  • Schedule classes assign instructional staff and secure qualified substitute instructors when necessary
  • Lead and participate in faculty meetings trainings seminars and departmental meetings
  • Advise students on academic attendance and behavioral matters monitor GPA and rates of progress support and document interventions for at-risk students
  • Support student learning by facilitating the application of didactic instruction to practical and clinical experiences
  • Address student grievances in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure compliance with Department of Education accrediting agencies and all applicable federal state and local regulations including Virginia Department of Medicine requirements
  • Assist with curriculum development and audit instructional materials to ensure current and approved usage
  • Participate in employee onboarding and mentoring to support a positive institutional culture
  • Perform additional duties assigned by campus leadership
  • Directly supervise all Limited Scope Radiologic Technology faculty and staff
