Job Duties
- Dust all hard surface flooring and horizontal surfaces such as desks, file cabinets, window sills
- Sweep and damp mop uncarpeted areas
- Remove spills, stains, gum, and foreign matter
- Vacuum carpeted areas and rugs
- Spot clean stains
- Clean glass surfaces and mirrors, removing fingerprints and smudges
- Empty all waste containers
- Replace liners and damp wipe containers
- Remove waste materials to designated disposal areas
- Use disinfectant cleaning products for high-touch surfaces such as doors, handles, switch plates
- Follow recycling and sustainability programs
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment within budgetary guidelines
