Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in event planning or lifestyle coordination preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
  • Ability to stand, sit and move throughout the day
  • Ability to set up and break down events
  • Valid driver’s license preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in event planning or lifestyle coordination
  • Strong public speaking skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Publisher, database software and point-of-sale systems
  • Ability to lead and motivate staff and volunteers
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to organize multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Experience with community or HOA settings preferred

Job Duties

  • Partner with the Community Manager to identify, coordinate and market all community events, programs and services
  • Oversee wellness staff and facilitators to ensure facilities, events, classes and customer service meet resident needs
  • Plan, coordinate and implement resident programs, classes and special community-wide events
  • Secure entertainment, food, decorations and necessary items for events
  • Solicit input and involvement from residents to stimulate participation
  • Assist residents and clubs with scheduling Association facilities and coordinate with other departments
  • Help establish chartered clubs and assist with application for charter process
  • Oversee membership desk and retail counter operations to ensure staffing and policy implementation
  • Manage New Resident Orientation presentations to ensure promotion and community participation
  • Attend Board of Directors, club and committee meetings as required
  • Accountable for personal and team performance, equipment, supplies, product quality and safety
  • Perform other duties as directed
