Job Requirements

  • At least 24 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license for safe operation of company vehicle
  • Ability to work a primarily Monday through Friday schedule with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lead group activities and fitness sessions
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and e-mail
  • Previous experience in recreational program planning preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of the local community, area and region
  • Passion for serving seniors
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office programs and e-mail
  • At least 24 years of age with a valid driver’s license
  • Previous work experience organizing and providing recreational programs, events, and activities is preferred
  • Experience in roles such as activities director, cruise director, event planner, fitness instructor, volunteer coordinator, art teacher, camp director, or theater performer is a plus

Job Duties

  • Design and execute activities and programs that engage, support, and uplift residents
  • Lead fitness activities in the community’s fitness center
  • Uncover residents’ interests, hobbies, talents, and curiosities and accompany them on outings
  • Plan recreational activities, events, and fitness programs that align with residents’ interests
  • Conduct interviews with new residents to discover their goals for intellectual, social, spiritual, physical, and creative development
  • Foster positive relationships with residents and team members
  • Live by the core values of respect, kindness and compassion, honesty, and service excellence
