Job Requirements
- At least 24 years of age
- Valid driver’s license for safe operation of company vehicle
- Ability to work a primarily Monday through Friday schedule with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lead group activities and fitness sessions
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and e-mail
- Previous experience in recreational program planning preferred
Job Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the local community, area and region
- Passion for serving seniors
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office programs and e-mail
- At least 24 years of age with a valid driver’s license
- Previous work experience organizing and providing recreational programs, events, and activities is preferred
- Experience in roles such as activities director, cruise director, event planner, fitness instructor, volunteer coordinator, art teacher, camp director, or theater performer is a plus
Job Duties
- Design and execute activities and programs that engage, support, and uplift residents
- Lead fitness activities in the community’s fitness center
- Uncover residents’ interests, hobbies, talents, and curiosities and accompany them on outings
- Plan recreational activities, events, and fitness programs that align with residents’ interests
- Conduct interviews with new residents to discover their goals for intellectual, social, spiritual, physical, and creative development
- Foster positive relationships with residents and team members
- Live by the core values of respect, kindness and compassion, honesty, and service excellence
