Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
- Background in hospitality or travel industry required
- Two years' experience in event planning and budgeting preferred
- Experience working in a Homeowners Association or knowledge of working with homebuilders is a plus
- Current First Aid, CPR/AED certification and other safety certifications as required by the Club
- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency in Excel
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, journals, and governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and manuals
- Ability to speak effectively before groups
- Basic computational and budgetary analysis skills
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Strong written communication skills with attention to detail
- Strategic planning, change management, problem-solving, decision-making, delegation, time management, supervisory, and employee development skills
- Initiative and independent decision-making
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with continuous improvement
- Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Valid Driver’s License required

Job Duties
- Communicate the core values and mission of BlueStar Resort and Golf to support the achievement of company goals
- Create a comprehensive member program that includes monthly activities and events for recreation, enrichment, creative expression, and travel
- Work with other department leaders to develop synergistic programs
- Host club events and activities, soliciting feedback for improvement
- Create strategic partnerships with clients to share information and create engaging lifestyle events
- Maintain open communication with members to share ideas
- Support budget creation and monitor department financial goals
- Update the member portal daily and generate newsletters
- Perform other duties as assigned
