Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
  • flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and some holidays
  • proficiency with MS Office software
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • ability to communicate effectively with members, guests, and vendors
  • capability to handle problem situations tactfully
  • dependable and punctual
  • ability to perform light housekeeping and maintenance tasks
  • basic report writing and correspondence skills
  • public speaking ability

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet members and guests as they enter the facility
  • check identification cards
  • assist with event set-ups
  • respond promptly to communications
  • follow through on commitments
  • provide outstanding service professionally and courteously
  • handle problem situations calmly and tactfully
  • answer questions about Lifestyle programs
  • recommend events and functions
  • write routine reports and correspondence
  • speak effectively before groups
  • maintain a safe and friendly environment
  • collaborate with the Lifestyle department on program creation
  • assist in room set-up and breakdown for events
  • perform light housekeeping duties
  • inspect grounds for cleanliness
  • notify proper departments of needed attention
  • respond to emergencies appropriately
  • replenish administrative forms
  • prepare monthly reports and vendor check requests
  • maintain accurate records of attendance
  • manage staff schedules and contractor communications
  • interpret safety and procedural documents
  • answer telephones and greet prospective buyers
  • maintain event registration calendars
  • update records for accuracy
  • assist in article preparation for Lifestyle magazine
  • contact members about programs
  • perform other related duties as assigned
