Job Description

Job Requirements
- Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
- Must pass all health screenings including physical, TB test, and drug test
- Must possess current basic first aid certification or obtain within first 30 days of hire
- Must be able to safely transport residents
- Must successfully complete fingerprinting/criminal background check and reference checks
- Must be committed to working with seniors and supporting their well-being
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with seniors preferred
- Ability to engage and motivate elderly residents
- Basic first aid certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
Job Duties
- Assist with activities as directed by Lifestyle Director
- Encourage resident participation to develop and maintain residents' fullest potential through planned activities
- Assist with documenting and developing activity programs
- Support the community's arts and crafts activities
- Transport residents safely to and from locations such as medical appointments, shopping, banks, activities and social events
- Cultivate leisure time activities including games, puzzles, and movies
- Ensure safety and compliance with community policies
