Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Specialty certification as personal trainer, exercise specialist, fitness instructor, health and fitness specialist or similar area preferred
  • Background in exercise and activity training with senior populations preferred
  • Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Good organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Specialty certification as personal trainer, exercise specialist, fitness instructor, health and fitness specialist or similar preferred
  • Experience with exercise and activity training for senior populations preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage senior residents
  • Knowledge of wellness program development
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Job Duties

  • Schedule monthly calendar with 5-7 exercises and activities per day including group sessions
  • Participate as lead instructor for wellness activities
  • Market the wellness program to residents and staff
  • Attend weekly or monthly staff meetings for special events and program updates
  • Track participation levels and progress of residents
  • Collaborate with therapy team to enhance program delivery
  • Ensure activities meet the holistic wellness goals of EnerG by Aegis
