Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- CPR AED First Aid certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR AED First Aid certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience in security or life safety roles preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage emergencies and act as incident commander
Job Duties
- Manage security and access control for entire campus including parking areas and ensure health and safety check-in protocols are followed by all visitors
- Maintain fire and emergency procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Respond to all 911 calls and escort emergency responders to the scene
- Monitor weather conditions and begin appropriate response (tornado snow power outage)
- Manage direct and distribute all incoming phone communications mail and packages
- Accumulate maintain and provide statistics and reports as directed
- Investigate safety and security incidents that occur on campus property and report all accidents or incidents involving residents or staff personnel to department head
- Inspect and maintain life safety equipment
- Conduct night shift fire drills as directed
