Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum one year of relevant experience preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively with seniors and team members
  • willingness to work flexible hours
  • strong organizational skills
  • positive attitude and empathetic nature
  • compliance with health and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in activities coordination or event planning preferred
  • minimum one year of experience in recreation or activities services preferred
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to organize and lead groups effectively
  • genuine passion for working with seniors
  • capability to adapt activities to individual resident needs

Job Duties

  • develop and implement engaging activities and programs for seniors
  • coordinate events that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being
  • assist residents with participation in daily enrichment activities
  • collaborate with staff and families to tailor activities to residents’ needs
  • maintain records of activities and resident participation
  • ensure a safe and supportive environment during all activities
  • support and encourage seniors’ active involvement in community life
