Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of two years' experience in a social or recreation program or similar experience working in a healthcare setting
- food handlers card required upon hire
- knowledge and experience caring for and interacting with an elder population
- knowledge of computers, data entry, retrieval, output, etc.
- must be 25 years or older to drive company vehicle
Job Qualifications

- knowledge and experience caring for and interacting with an elder population
- knowledge of computers, data entry, retrieval, output, etc.
- ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or regulatory agencies
- able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the public
- must be 25 years or older to drive company vehicle
Job Duties
- develop and distribute a monthly activities calendar and newsletter for residents and family members
- coordinate and schedule outside vendors and presenters
- participate in community event planning with the marketing staff
- prepare person centered activities as a description for the monthly calendar
- create and update residents service plan preferences in their electronic health record
- make routine visits to residents
- plan, prepare and operate under the activities budget
- participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies
- attend quarterly LED meetings
