Job Requirements
- Four-year degree in a field related to life enrichment or health and wellness, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum two years’ experience with senior retirement life enrichment programs
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to learn and adapt to organization-specific software
- Compassionate attitude towards older adults including those with Alzheimer’s and dementia
- Ability to manage budgets and develop strategic plans
Job Qualifications
- Four-year degree in life enrichment, health and wellness, or related field
- Two years of experience with senior retirement life enrichment programs or equivalent
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to learn organization-specific software
- Genuine interest in the health and well-being of aging adults
- Knowledge of psychosocial perspectives of older adults
Job Duties
- Overseeing the planning and implementation of activities and wellness programs
- Collaborating with Resident Services Director, Executive Director, and Retirement Counselors
- Identifying resident groups with similar interests and planning social events
- Brainstorming and coordinating trips and tours
- Organizing transportation for events
- Developing and maintaining relationships with residents and community partners
- Managing the annual life enrichment budget and strategic plan
