Job Requirements

  • Four-year degree in a field related to life enrichment or health and wellness, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum two years’ experience with senior retirement life enrichment programs
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to learn and adapt to organization-specific software
  • Compassionate attitude towards older adults including those with Alzheimer’s and dementia
  • Ability to manage budgets and develop strategic plans

Job Qualifications

  • Four-year degree in life enrichment, health and wellness, or related field
  • Two years of experience with senior retirement life enrichment programs or equivalent
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to learn organization-specific software
  • Genuine interest in the health and well-being of aging adults
  • Knowledge of psychosocial perspectives of older adults

Job Duties

  • Overseeing the planning and implementation of activities and wellness programs
  • Collaborating with Resident Services Director, Executive Director, and Retirement Counselors
  • Identifying resident groups with similar interests and planning social events
  • Brainstorming and coordinating trips and tours
  • Organizing transportation for events
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with residents and community partners
  • Managing the annual life enrichment budget and strategic plan
