Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience working with geriatric clients preferred
- Activity Director Certification preferred
- Current driver's license and compliance with company auto policy
- Ability to use MS Publisher
- Compassionate, patient, and kind with a heart for senior adults
- Reliable and able to drive van/bus for resident outings
- Effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience on a Life Enrichment or Activities team preferred
- Activity Director Certification, recreational therapist credentials, or related certification beneficial
- One year of experience working with geriatric clients preferred
- Current driver's license and ability to meet company auto policy
- Basic computer skills including MS Publisher
- Experience with social media content creation is a plus
Job Duties
- Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Life Enrichment Activities Department
- Assure that an on-going program of activities is designed to meet the interests and the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident
- Encourage residents to participate in scheduled activity programs
- Create a positive atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and fun
- Use MS Publisher to create the community's newsletter and calendar
- Coordinate with marketing to send photos and videos for social media posting
- Lead and support the Life Enrichment team to deliver high-quality activities
