Job Requirements

  • Associate degree in human services, behavioral science, social sciences, or related field or national certification as an activity professional
  • At least 2 years of experience leading group activities in a senior living setting or similar environment
  • Skills, talent and interest in performing arts, arts and crafts, fitness/wellness, music, creative writing
  • Strong computer skills
  • Valid driver’s license issued by the state of South Carolina

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Plan activities by assisting the Life Enrichment Director
  • Encourage residents to participate in activities
  • Welcome and assist new residents and their families, orient residents to community lifestyle
  • Develop a working knowledge of applicable regulations and stay updated on regulatory changes
  • Communicate activities and events to the community
  • Assist in set-up/clean-up for special events and parties
