Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- 2 or more years of experience working in social or recreational programs preferred
- Experience working with geriatrics or the elderly preferred
- Genuine empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Ability to handle documentation timely and accurately
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 or more years of experience in social or recreational programming preferred

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Genuine empathy and patience
Job Duties
- Leads communication and promotion of scheduled programs
- Assists residents to and from programs
- Plans and carries out personal interaction and social activities with residents
- Develops programs that enhance each resident's sense of meaningful engagement
- Explores interests and preferences to involve residents appropriately
- Communicates initial information and observations to staff
- Meets with new residents in a timely manner and attends care conferences
- Ensures documentation is informative, descriptive, timely, and accurate
