Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of one year activities or recreation experience
- dementia engagement certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment
- current or eligible for CPR certification
Job Duties
- Assist the Life Enrichment Coordinator in planning and implementing resident programs and events
- Provide residents with opportunities for meaningful engagement consistent with Acts Engaged Living Philosophy
- Incorporate wellness, person-centered living, and hospitality into Acts Signature Experience events
- Ensure programs address body, mind, and spirit for quality of life improvement
- Use Montessori principles to design activities tailored to residents' personal histories and preferences
- Support residents of varying cognitive and functional levels in participation
- Maintain records and assist in organizing appreciation and wellness events
