Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Entry level experience
- Sufficient physical ability and mobility for office/community work
- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods
- Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist occasionally
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability to operate various equipment
- Ability to perform repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions
- Clarity of vision for near and far distances as well as peripheral vision

Job Duties
- Assist in the planning, scheduling, and implementation of life enrichment programs
- Assist in the set-up and decorating for special events
- Assist in the set-up and clean-up of rooms, materials, and furnishings for programs
- Lead programs such as exercise, educational, arts and crafts, and social events
- Record attendance as necessary
- Operate and maintain equipment
- Maintain bulletin boards, prepare materials, and distribute calendar of events
- Observe resident conditions and report changes
- Chart residents’ progress and participate in care planning
- Transport residents to and from activities and accompany on outside trips
- Assist in emergency evacuation transportation
- Engage in one-on-one visits with residents
