Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in event planning or related roles
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Proficiency with technology and digital communication tools
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to build rapport with senior residents
  • Effective multitasking and problem-solving abilities
  • Valid driver's license preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in senior living, recreation, hospitality, event planning, or a related field preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and digital communication tools
  • Skilled in basic graphic or calendar design platforms
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt quickly
  • Warm and positive demeanor comfortable working with seniors

Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, and execute a full calendar of innovative and enriching programs, events, and outings for Independent Living residents
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Life Enrichment department with a hands-on, energetic approach
  • Utilize technology to create clear, timely, and visually appealing communications including monthly calendars, newsletters, and digital screens
  • Build strong relationships with residents by being present, approachable, and attentive to their interests and abilities
  • Coordinate vendors, volunteers, and staff to ensure seamless event execution
  • Track attendance, manage a departmental budget, and maintain organized records with exceptional attention to detail
  • Collaborate with other departments to support community-wide initiatives and special events
  • Coordinate with the Life Enrichment team at The Towne House to ensure all programs are aligned, well-communicated, and seamlessly executed across the community
