Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in event planning, customer service, or group coordination
  • Current negative TB test
  • Background check clearance
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office suite
  • Ability to learn new software quickly
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Passion for senior care and working with dementia patients
  • Leadership experience
  • Ability to manage budget and resources effectively

Job Qualifications

  • At least 21 years of age
  • At least 2 years of experience in customer service, event planning, or group coordination
  • Current negative TB test
  • Ability to pass criminal record/background check
  • Valid driver's license with qualifying driver abstract
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with little oversight
  • Strong organizational abilities and leadership skills
  • Desire to interact frequently and lead groups
  • Experience with seniors or vulnerable populations preferred

Job Duties

  • Design and implement engaging programs for seniors at varying cognitive and physical levels
  • Coordinate and plan small and large group activities and events
  • Lead social, creative, physical, intellectual, and spiritual enrichment initiatives
  • Develop and maintain wellness programs including physical exercise and mindfulness
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with residents, families, and volunteers
  • Manage budgets for labor and supplies related to activities programming
  • Market volunteer opportunities and facilitate community involvement
