Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree in recreation, fine arts or a related human services field
- minimum of three years progressively responsible work experience in the recreation department of a retirement community, skilled care, or assisted living environment
- prior supervisory or management experience preferred
- national Certification Council for Activity Professionals or a state approved coordinator’s activity course preferred
- compliance with Florida's Care Provider Background Screening process

Job Duties
- plan and implement programs and events providing residents an Acts Signature Experience wellness culture
- oversee the operations of all activity departments in independent living, assisted living, and skilled care neighborhoods
- perform engagement work related to community operations and management
- facilitate residents' wellness through activities that address body, mind, and spirit
- support residents in pursuit of personal wellness goals
- coordinate with team members to ensure quality and consistency in programming
- manage resources and budgets for activity departments
