Job Requirements
- Current active LPN license in state of practice
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
- Ability to push and pull objects and lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Full use of hands, arms, and legs for writing and medication administration
- Ability to read thermometers, charts, and testing equipment
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Ability to speak English in an understandable manner
Job Qualifications
- Current active LPN license in state of practice
- Experience in gerontological nursing preferred
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Ability to speak English in an understandable manner
- Familiarity with dementia patient care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and protocols
Job Duties
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments to residents
- Maintain accurate medical and treatment records
- Ensure resident needs are met in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
- Adhere to federal, state, and local healthcare guidelines
- Collaborate with Health and Wellness team to provide comprehensive care
- Demonstrate ability to perform necessary physical tasks such as lifting and standing
- Communicate effectively with residents and healthcare staff
