Job Requirements

  • Current active LPN license in state of practice
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
  • Ability to push and pull objects and lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Full use of hands, arms, and legs for writing and medication administration
  • Ability to read thermometers, charts, and testing equipment
  • Basic reading and writing skills
  • Ability to speak English in an understandable manner

Job Qualifications

  • Current active LPN license in state of practice
  • Experience in gerontological nursing preferred
  • Basic reading and writing skills
  • Ability to speak English in an understandable manner
  • Familiarity with dementia patient care
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and protocols

Job Duties

  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments to residents
  • Maintain accurate medical and treatment records
  • Ensure resident needs are met in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
  • Adhere to federal, state, and local healthcare guidelines
  • Collaborate with Health and Wellness team to provide comprehensive care
  • Demonstrate ability to perform necessary physical tasks such as lifting and standing
  • Communicate effectively with residents and healthcare staff
