Job Requirements

  • high school graduate or equivalent
  • completion of a Licensed Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent experience
  • current licensure as a Licensed Nursing Assistant in the State of Vermont - unrestricted
  • ability to work primary shift from 10:45 AM to 11:15 PM
  • availability for weekend work every other week
  • willingness to work in a medical surgical department
  • compliance with hospital policies and union regulations

Job Qualifications

  • high school graduate or equivalent
  • completion of a Licensed Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent experience
  • current unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Nursing Assistant in the State of Vermont
  • ability to work a full 40-hour week including weekend rotations
  • strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • provide supportive care under RN supervision
  • carry out tasks and procedures as designated by Registered Nurse
  • cooperate with nursing staff to meet patient needs
  • perform tasks for which the employee has been prepared
  • adhere to hospital policies and established job functions
  • assist in patient comfort and well-being
  • support nursing team in daily patient care activities
