Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Completion of a Licensed Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent experience
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Nursing Assistant in the State of Vermont with no restrictions
  • Willingness to work full-time including weekend shifts
  • Ability to follow hospital policies and procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Completion of a Licensed Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent experience
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Nursing Assistant in the State of Vermont with no restrictions
  • Ability to work full time and adhere to scheduled hours
  • Experience in patient care or a healthcare setting preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide supportive care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
  • Carry out specific tasks and procedures as designated by the Registered Nurse
  • Cooperate with nursing staff to meet the needs and wants of patients
  • Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
  • Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the nursing staff
  • Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
  • Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare team members
