Job Requirements

  • Licensed U.S. Customs Broker
  • At least 2 years of customs entries experience
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of International Commercial Terms
  • Effective communicator with the ability to lead and support a team
  • Food commodity experience is an advantage
  • Experience using Netchb or a similar customs software preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or similar preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage the customs entry writing team and daily operations
  • Respond to CBP and PGA inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure the department is running smoothly and is compliant with regulations
  • Lead and support the entry writing team in managing day-to-day customs clearance activities
  • Work closely with importers and the sales teams to ensure correct classification and tariffs
  • Maintain and develop relationships with carriers, government agencies, and import partners
  • Manage relevant documentation including bill of lading and invoices
