Job Requirements

  • Maintains a personal active relationship with Jesus Christ and acts as a consistent witness
  • Faithfully upholds BGEA in prayer
  • Participates in daily BGEA staff devotions including Bible reading and leading prayer
  • Demonstrates behavior aligned with BGEA’s mission, Statement of Faith, hallmarks, policies, and expectations
  • Effectively represents Jesus Christ in both personal and professional spheres
  • Two-year degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • At least three years of food service leadership experience preferred
  • At least two years of budget development and leadership experience preferred
  • Current ServSafe certification required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Word
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work some evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Two-year degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • At least three years of food service leadership experience preferred
  • At least two years of budget development and leadership experience preferred
  • Current ServSafe certification required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with strength in Excel and Word
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Skilled in meal production, planning, and scheduling
  • Knowledge of nutrition, allergy awareness, sanitation, and food service regulations
  • Skilled at ordering, receiving, storing, and inventorying food and supplies
  • Ability to interpret safety rules and operating instructions
  • Proficient in problem-solving related to food service operations

Job Duties

  • Responsible for day-to-day operations of Dairy Bar including providing quick service and high-quality products
  • Foster positive environment for Dairy Bar employees by maintaining professionalism and exceptional time-sensitive service
  • Work with Assistant Director to develop and manage food service budgets
  • Assist with catering events including cooking and food preparation
  • Supervise food services staff including personnel issues, work assignments, and training
  • Manage break areas including supplies, coffee service, and equipment
  • Maintain food supply inventory and submit reports
  • Review and approve food service orders ensuring accuracy
  • Complete cash register operations and daily reports
  • Operate Dairy Bar according to health department regulations
