Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in event planning catering or a customer-facing role
- Organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards of quality
- Must be flexible with scheduling due to the nature of the role work hours may vary including evenings weekends and holidays
- Regular reliable attendance is required

Job Duties
- Assist with planning and executing events ensuring each one surpasses expectations
- Assist with administrative tasks related to booking EDM events with precision including documenting details preparing essential paperwork and coordinating the ordering of supplies
- Collaborate effectively with the Event Operations Manager to align event objectives with the museum's mission and strategic goals
- Thoroughly document all event details and prepare the necessary paperwork ensuring every aspect is accounted for
- Coordinate logistics timelines and vendor arrangements to ensure all event details align with client expectations clearly communicating event specifics to the Events and Operations Manager
- Initiate contact with clients immediately after booking their events and cultivate strong relationships through consistent communication
- Meet with clients planning special events and expertly document their requirements
- Create engaging content for social media platforms that showcases events venue features and client success stories
- Assist the Manager with the venue's online presence responding to inquiries and engaging with potential clients
- Assist clients in creating event timelines and floor plans that bring their vision to life
- Conduct engaging venue tours to provide prospective clients with comprehensive information
- Uphold customer satisfaction by proactively addressing complaints and reporting them to the Events and Operations Manager
- Ensure strict adherence to county regulations and event contracts
