Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in customer service or event coordination
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups
  • understanding of city policies and safety procedures
  • authorization to work in the united states

Job Duties

  • assists with the coordination of the meeting room spaces both internally and with the public
  • works closely as part of the programming team to develop effective strategies for room management and oversee public use of the spaces
  • works as part of the programming team to coordinate special events in the library and in the community
  • serves as a liaison between the library and the community, cultivating mission-based strategic programs and special events
  • performs all work duties and activities in accordance with city policies, procedures and safety practices
  • attends work regularly at the designated place and time
  • supports continuous process improvement initiatives
  • performs related work as required
