Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in customer service or event coordination
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- strong organizational and communication skills
- commitment to providing excellent customer service
- ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups
- understanding of city policies and safety procedures
- authorization to work in the united states

Job Duties
- assists with the coordination of the meeting room spaces both internally and with the public
- works closely as part of the programming team to develop effective strategies for room management and oversee public use of the spaces
- works as part of the programming team to coordinate special events in the library and in the community
- serves as a liaison between the library and the community, cultivating mission-based strategic programs and special events
- performs all work duties and activities in accordance with city policies, procedures and safety practices
- attends work regularly at the designated place and time
- supports continuous process improvement initiatives
- performs related work as required
