Job Requirements

  • food preparation skills
  • knowledge of HACCP standards
  • at least 1 year of related cooking experience
  • ability to work in high volume environment preferred
  • ability to speak, read and understand instructions
  • ability to lift or move up to 40 pounds
  • ability to bend, twist and stand for job functions
  • willingness to work in hot environments
  • ability to handle sharp knives and utensils
  • comply with food safety practices

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 1 year cooking experience
  • knowledge of HACCP standards
  • experience in high volume or casual dining preferred
  • ability to read and comprehend instructions and policies
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Job Duties

  • prepare cooked foods including frying, flat top griddle, pantry, and egg stations
  • communicate ticket times and potential problems to managers and servers
  • follow recipes and product directions for food preparation
  • estimate food requirements and plan production
  • clean and sanitize workstations and equipment
  • comply with food safety and HACCP standards
  • operate kitchen equipment and handle food ingredients
