Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-6 months related experience or training
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals
  • Knowledge of concession operations
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to communicate via radio
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Some computer skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Food Handler's Permit upon hire
  • Completion of ASM Alcohol and Policy Training Classes

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 3-6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Knowledge of concession operations
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide (basic mathematics skills)
  • Ability to communicate and execute instructions via radio (walkie talkie)
  • Ability to regularly move and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Some computer skills
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Permit upon hire
  • Attend all ASM Alcohol and Policy Training Classes

Job Duties

  • Ensure that concession stands maintain sufficient product levels to service the event
  • Direct concession and bartender stand personnel to assure delivery of excellent customer service to guests attending the event
  • Direct stand and bartender personnel in established food production for the event by utilizing provided production sheets
  • Read, understand and communicate all pertinent event information as discussed in pre-shift meeting
  • Contact warehouse for additional inventory needed during event
  • Assure that all stand personnel are compliant with alcohol service policy
  • Assure that all products are merchandised properly and re-stocked as needed
  • Troubleshoot equipment and record any equipment needing repairs or replacement
  • Provide training to new stand personnel on POS system
  • Record opening and closing inventories, product transfers and product waste or spoilage
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the concession stands at opening, during event and closing
  • Complete all required event related paperwork
  • Follow and receive direction from Director of Food and Beverage
