Job Requirements
- College graduate or equivalent industry experience
- minimum 3 years experience as a manager within a resort sales and marketing department preferably a four or five-diamond property
- professional appearance
- proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- experience with Opera PMS and Agency360 is desirable

Job Duties
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with travel advisors, agency owners, consortia program managers and influencers
- identify opportunities to grow business and expand market share or RevPar Index growth
- travel 1-2 times per month domestically and internationally as required
- deliver presentations to large groups both in-person and virtually
- attend industry networking events
- plan sales missions, client events and familiarization trips
- draft newsletters, e-blasts and organize direct mail and marketing materials
- conduct property tours and demonstrate extensive property knowledge
- respond promptly to email inquiries and calls, draft comprehensive proposals, customize client itineraries
- conduct timely follow-up communications
- utilize in-house reporting to track booking activity
- make outbound solicitation calls and track sales activities
- collaborate with departments to ensure exceptional guest experiences
- maintain current knowledge of competitive sets and regional travel products
- forward resort sales leads to relevant departments
- maintain arrival and site logs
- manage leisure sales database
- attend departmental meetings
- develop and implement short and long-term development goals
- train, coach, and develop leisure coordinators
- provide timely guest feedback to revenue and operations teams
- handle guest complaints ensuring corrective action
- liaise with accounting on billing and commission issues
- coordinate with Front Desk, Concierge, and Housekeeping to meet guest needs
- answer incoming calls professionally and convert to bookings
- ensure accurate recording of booking information
- conduct pre-arrival calls and assist with ancillary bookings
- greet guests upon arrival as appropriate
- stay current with departmental communications and changes
- assist with tasks such as room stripping, deliveries, luggage pulls, and lobby or associate events
- maintain a neat, clean, and safe work environment
