Job Requirements
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends to support park operations
- Attendance is a mandatory function of this job
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Ability to sit for sustained periods and perform paperwork activities
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Finger dexterity for paperwork and computer use
- Visual acuity sufficient to read materials and drive
- Hearing sufficient to communicate in person and by telephone
- Ability to work in various inside, outside, and enclosed locations with varying temperatures and floor surfaces
- Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions
- May be exposed to food allergens
Job Qualifications
- Preferred experience in a commercial or theme park environment
- Basic math and computing skills
- Guest service experience preferred
- Experience on a point of sale unit preferred
- High school graduate or General Education Degree (or equivalent education and experience) preferred
Job Duties
- Assist guests at all resort entrances, scanning tickets and membership passes, and ensuring ease of access for guests in wheelchairs and/or strollers
- Liaison with leadership team and guest services team to resolve ticket and membership errors
- Perform manual inspections of bags, backpacks, purses, and coolers entering the resort
- Operate computerized point of sale system and handle credit card transactions
- Assist in stock loss controls and participate in all loss prevention policies and procedures
- Maintain stock levels and ensure all areas are well-organized
- Sell resort tickets and memberships via Accesso POS system
- Provide memorable guest service as usher and host in assigned venues or shows
- Assist costume characters as a character escort to ensure safety and quality of guest experiences
- Learn and follow detailed ride operating procedures and maintain safe operation of rides and attractions
