Job Requirements
- Six months experience in a related role
- ability to stand and walk for entire shift
- ability to reach, pull, push, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently
- ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- strong organizational skills
- reliable and punctual
- ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
Job Qualifications
- One to three months of previous stock clerk, steward or related experience highly preferred
- basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and interpret bar graphs
- strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
- no diploma required
- ability to work flexible schedules
Job Duties
- Monitor all deliveries
- analyze invoices
- inspect products for quality, temperature, and condition
- perform proper rotation of food and beverage products
- report faulty or incorrect deliveries immediately
- receive, open, unpack, and stock restaurant supplies
- maintain receiving log tracking deliveries and missing items
- take inventory to identify items for reorder
- clean and maintain storage and delivery areas
- ensure kitchen and dining equipment is clean, sanitary, and in good repair
- step into kitchen roles as needed to support the team
