Job Requirements

  • Six months experience in a related role
  • ability to stand and walk for entire shift
  • ability to reach, pull, push, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently
  • ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • strong organizational skills
  • reliable and punctual
  • ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • One to three months of previous stock clerk, steward or related experience highly preferred
  • basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and interpret bar graphs
  • strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
  • no diploma required
  • ability to work flexible schedules

Job Duties

  • Monitor all deliveries
  • analyze invoices
  • inspect products for quality, temperature, and condition
  • perform proper rotation of food and beverage products
  • report faulty or incorrect deliveries immediately
  • receive, open, unpack, and stock restaurant supplies
  • maintain receiving log tracking deliveries and missing items
  • take inventory to identify items for reorder
  • clean and maintain storage and delivery areas
  • ensure kitchen and dining equipment is clean, sanitary, and in good repair
  • step into kitchen roles as needed to support the team
