Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in food preparation or cooking
- ability to follow dietary and sanitary regulations
- strong attention to detail
- good communication skills
- ability to work part-time shifts including every other weekend
- willingness to work in a senior living environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in a senior living setting is preferred
- must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families, and employees
- must possess advanced computer skills, including email use
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures
- direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils
- check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy
- ensure proper storage for food and supplies
- review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures
