Job Requirements

  • Servsafe certified for both Chicago and Illinois
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • At least 6 years of high volume restaurant management experience
  • Strong organizational skills and cleanliness
  • Ability to manage FOH and BOH operations
  • Proficiency with inventory and cost control software
  • Experience with employee hiring and training
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Experience with liquor, beer and wine inventory management
  • Proven ability to train and manage FOH personnel
  • Knowledge of cost control and labor scheduling
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Job Duties

  • Strong understanding of all FOH and BOH positions
  • Liquor, beer and wine inventory weekly management and cost of goods calculation using Ctuit Software
  • Manage health code violation matters
  • Oversee all liquor, beer and wine ordering
  • Maintain and inventory china and smallware
  • Set smallware ordering pars based on product mix
  • Train all FOH staff and ensure completion and accuracy of FOH human resource files
  • Hire and train all FOH managers
  • Calculate labor costs for FOH employees
  • Oversee weekly FOH employee scheduling
  • Educate FOH staff on food and drink preparation
  • Manage FOH repair and maintenance
  • Implement checklists and systems to standardize operations
  • Create consistency for entire beverage program
  • Collaborate with Events Manager and Executive Chef to plan and price private events
  • Ensure service consistency across FOH operations
