Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1-year experience in food, beverage or retail customer service
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- previous cash handling experience
- ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- adherence to proper uniform and grooming standards
- physical ability to move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 40 pounds
- ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods
- ability to perform repetitive hand and arm motions
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year customer service experience in food, beverage and/or retail environment
- previous coffee house and/or hotel experience preferred
- previous cash handling and customer service experience required
- ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate verbally and in writing in English with guests, management and co-workers
- ability to accurately and efficiently input information into MICROS
- ability to maintain a calm and welcoming demeanor under stress
- ability to work cohesively with co-workers within and outside of department
- ability to prioritize, organize and follow up on guest requests in a fast-paced environment
- familiarity with coffee, espresso, specialty drinks and retail items
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve food and beverage offerings within a coffee house setting
- communicate effectively with guests and associates
- represent Omni standards when handling guest complaints and issues
- maintain professionalism in all situations
