Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • previous cooking or food service experience is a plus but not required
  • excellent communication skills and a positive collaborative attitude
  • ability to stand and walk continually throughout shift
  • ability to perform duties requiring bending stooping and reaching
  • comfortable preparing meats seafood and vegetables and maintaining cold table supplies
  • ability to perform all cleaning functions including sanitizing equipment tools utensils and work surfaces
  • reliable attendance and ability to work various scheduled shifts

Job Duties

  • Skillfully prepare a variety of menu items including stir-frying entrees and preparing appetizers according to established recipes and quality standards
  • efficiently prep and portion ingredients and ensure the station is consistently stocked
  • ensure all products served meet high quality standards
  • adhere to standard batch sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen policies
  • maintain a clean and organized kitchen area including food prep, storage, and equipment
  • follow proper opening and closing procedures for kitchen stations
  • collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service especially during peak hours
