Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Previous cooking or food service experience is a plus but not required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive and collaborative attitude
  • Ability to stand and walk continually throughout shift
  • Ability to perform duties requiring bending, stooping, and reaching
  • Ability to handle changes in temperature
  • Comfortable preparing meats, seafood, and vegetables
  • Ability to perform cleaning functions including sanitizing equipment, tools, utensils, and work surfaces
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work various scheduled shifts

  • Ability to work various scheduled shifts

Job Duties

  • Skillfully prepare a variety of menu items including stir-frying entrees and preparing appetizers according to established recipes and quality standards
  • Efficiently prep and portion ingredients and ensure the station is consistently stocked
  • Ensure all products served meet high quality standards
  • Follow standard batch sizes and cooking methods while adhering to kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area including food preparation and storage spaces as well as equipment and utensils
  • Perform proper opening and closing procedures for kitchen stations
  • Work effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service especially during peak hours
