Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to stand and walk continually throughout shift
- Ability to perform duties requiring bending, stooping, and reaching
- Comfortable preparing meats, seafood, and vegetables
- Ability to perform cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen equipment and tools
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with team
Job Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- Previous cooking or food service experience is a plus but not required
- Strong work ethic and passion for food
- Excellent communication skills and positive collaborative attitude
- Ability to stand and walk continuously during shifts
- Ability to perform duties requiring bending, stooping, and reaching
- Comfortable preparing meats, seafood, and vegetables
- Ability to maintain cold table supplies
- Ability to perform all cleaning functions including sanitizing equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
- Reliable attendance and ability to work various shifts
Job Duties
- Skillfully prepare a variety of menu items including stir-frying entrees and preparing appetizers
- Efficiently prep and portion ingredients and ensure station is consistently stocked
- Ensure the quality of all products served meets company standards
- Adhere to kitchen rules, policies, and procedures including standard batch sizes and cooking methods
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area including food prep and storage areas and equipment
- Follow proper opening and closing procedures for kitchen stations
- Work effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service especially during peak hours
