Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Ability to stand and walk continually throughout shift
  • Ability to perform duties requiring bending, stooping, and reaching
  • Comfortable preparing meats, seafood, and vegetables
  • Ability to perform cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen equipment and tools
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with team

Job Qualifications

  • At least 16 years of age
  • Previous cooking or food service experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong work ethic and passion for food
  • Excellent communication skills and positive collaborative attitude
  • Ability to stand and walk continuously during shifts
  • Ability to perform duties requiring bending, stooping, and reaching
  • Comfortable preparing meats, seafood, and vegetables
  • Ability to maintain cold table supplies
  • Ability to perform all cleaning functions including sanitizing equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work various shifts

Job Duties

  • Skillfully prepare a variety of menu items including stir-frying entrees and preparing appetizers
  • Efficiently prep and portion ingredients and ensure station is consistently stocked
  • Ensure the quality of all products served meets company standards
  • Adhere to kitchen rules, policies, and procedures including standard batch sizes and cooking methods
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area including food prep and storage areas and equipment
  • Follow proper opening and closing procedures for kitchen stations
  • Work effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service especially during peak hours
