Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Previous cooking or food service experience is a plus but not required
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive collaborative attitude
  • Ability to stand and walk continually throughout your shift and perform duties requiring bending stooping and reaching
  • Comfortable preparing meats seafood and vegetables and maintaining cold table supplies
  • Ability to perform all cleaning functions including sanitizing equipment tools utensils and work surfaces
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work various scheduled shifts

Job Duties

  • Skillfully prepare a variety of menu items including stir-frying entrees and preparing appetizers according to established recipes and quality standards
  • Efficiently prep and portion ingredients and ensure the station is consistently stocked
  • Ensure all products meet high quality standards before serving
  • Adhere to standard batch sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area including food preparation and storage spaces as well as equipment and utensils with proper opening and closing procedures
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service especially during peak hours
