Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Ability to stand and walk continually throughout shift
  • Ability to perform duties requiring bending stooping and reaching
  • Comfortable preparing meats seafood and vegetables
  • Ability to maintain cold table supplies
  • Ability to perform cleaning functions including sanitizing equipment tools utensils and work surfaces
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work various scheduled shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills and a positive collaborative attitude
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Passion for food and willingness to learn
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques is a plus
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety and hygiene standards
  • Previous cooking or food service experience is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Skillfully prepare a variety of menu items including stir-frying entrees and preparing appetizers according to established recipes and quality standards
  • Efficiently prep and portion ingredients ensuring stations are consistently stocked
  • Ensure the quality of all products served meets the company standards
  • Adhere to standard batch sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen policies
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas including preparation, storage spaces, equipment, and utensils
  • Follow proper opening and closing procedures for kitchen stations
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service especially during peak hours
