Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to stand and walk continually throughout shift
- Ability to perform duties requiring bending stooping and reaching
- Comfortable preparing meats seafood and vegetables
- Ability to maintain cold table supplies
- Ability to perform cleaning functions including sanitizing equipment tools utensils and work surfaces
- Reliable attendance and ability to work various scheduled shifts
Job Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills and a positive collaborative attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Passion for food and willingness to learn
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety and hygiene standards
- Previous cooking or food service experience is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Skillfully prepare a variety of menu items including stir-frying entrees and preparing appetizers according to established recipes and quality standards
- Efficiently prep and portion ingredients ensuring stations are consistently stocked
- Ensure the quality of all products served meets the company standards
- Adhere to standard batch sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas including preparation, storage spaces, equipment, and utensils
- Follow proper opening and closing procedures for kitchen stations
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service especially during peak hours
