Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts and 3 years of related work experience
- OR Associate degree in Culinary Arts and 5 years of related work experience
- OR 15 college credits in Culinary Arts and 7 years of related work experience
- OR Master recognition by Food Services Community and 10 years of related work experience
- Must be able to teach in person and attend meetings or trainings on short notice
- Must maintain at least one office hour per week for each class taught
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as necessary
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field
- Associate degree in Culinary Arts with extensive related work experience
- Experience in professional training within the culinary arts
- Previous teaching or instructional experience preferred
- Commitment to supporting student success
- Willingness to work with Running Start and Early College programs
- Ability to conduct effective student evaluations
- Familiarity with course learning outcomes assessment
Job Duties
- Conduct lecture and laboratory courses in the discipline
- May include instructional assignment involving distance education
- Maintain at least one office hour per week for each class taught
- Possible evening, weekend and off-campus assignments
- Conduct student evaluations of teaching effectiveness
- Participate in assessment of course learning outcomes
- Adhere to all due dates including the online submission of grades
